IrDA SDK The Sybase IrDA Software Development Kit (SDK) is delivered as portable source code and provides a very fast and efficient way to add reliable IrDA-compliant infrared communications to an embedded device. Sybase’s IrDA software is designed for use in portable office equipment, adapters, mobile phones, PDAs, pagers, digital cameras, medical equipment, industrial automation products and more.
IrOBEX SDK IrOBEX stands for Infrared OBject EXchange and is an industry standard of the Infrared Data Association, which defines how objects can be shared between different IrDA devices. The IrOBEX source code, or SDK, is Sybase’s implementation of this standard and provides an application layer protocol that enables systems of all sizes and types to exchange a wide variety of data and commands in a resource-sensitive, standardized fashion.
